YSRCP Handed 2 MLA Seats to TDP

In andhra pradesh, certain constituencies place more faith in the candidates' unique qualities than in the party's overall reputation. Two such constituencies have been given to the tdp by the ruling party, ysr Congress, on a silver platter, according to ap polling trends. The addanki and Parchur constituencies are those two.

Gottipati ravi Kumar, a current mla with a good public image, was fielded by the tdp in Addanki. Previously affiliated with Congress, he ran for office in addanki in 2004 and 2009 until joining the ycp in 2014. After that, he located a secure harbor in telugu Desam and ran for office in 2019 on the tdp platform. Regardless of the party he belongs to, he was elected as addanki mla three times in a row, demonstrating that his reputation in addanki is greater than that of any party.

In case Gottipati Ravi's supremacy in addanki wasn't forceful enough, chinna Hanimi Reddy, an outsider, was fielded by the ysr Congress. To compete against a mass leader like ravi in addanki, ycp brought him from Peddakurapadu in Guntur, and this essentially closed the deal for TDP. Numerous ycp cadres and tier 2 leaders joined telugu Desam following Hanimi Reddy's announcement as the candidate, indicating Ravi's victory even in advance of the election.

Next is Parchur, where eluru sambasiva rao is competing on behalf of the TDP. He had a successful debut here in 2014 on a tdp ticket, and in 2019 he overcame a big ycp wave to win here once more. Yedama Balaji, who has a terrible record for having worked for every major political party in the ap, was selected by the ycp as their candidate in this election in 2024. Furthermore, Eluri sambasiva rao is playing at a high level right now, and there is some internal discussion about how this big-margin victory is a formality.

Even before the election, tdp had a significant advantage due to YCP's poor candidate selection and the individual strengths of the tdp candidates in the two constituencies.
