Aranmanai 4 / Baak Movie Review - The Perfect Horror Comedy
Saravanan (Sundar C), a virtuous attorney who refuses to represent the dishonest or the illegal, is devoted to his sister Selvi (Tamannaah), who left the family after getting married against their desires. Saravanan's devotion to his sister hasn't diminished throughout the years. In light of these events, a police officer searches for Saravanan one day to tell him that his brother-in-law has died and that, unable to handle the news, his sister Selvi has also taken her own life. Inconsolable, Saravanan rushes with his aunt to the magnificent building inside the town tucked away in a forest, where his sister and her family had resided.
There he discovers that his niece and nephew, his sister's and brother-in-law's offspring, are in grave danger. Saravanan discovers quickly that his sister was murdered rather than taking her own life. He also understands that his niece, the late sister's daughter, is also in danger. Why and by whom has his sister been killed? For what purpose is the child being sought after by someone? In what way does Saravanan preserve the child's life? Owning the role of Saravanan, sundar c gives a very convincing portrayal of the sincere attorney out to defend his sister's children.
In the movie, Tamannaah's performance as Selvi is excellent. She portrays a mother who would stop at nothing to keep her kids safe, but she also plays a terrifying ghost that seeks to punish everyone who tries to harm them. tamannaah seemed to have had fun filming this part, which is very different from any character she has done in the past.

Although playing a very little part, Raashi Khanna has a fair amount of significance. She doesn't have much work to do, but what she does get done, she does it extremely well. yogi babu and VTV Ganesh work effectively together to inject comedy into the movie, while kovai sarala provides them with strong support. The comedians' natural sense of humor is what makes the comedic parts work.
Why then do the scary parts work? The frightening parts are effective because of some excellent, in-depth spirit study. This time, sundar c centers his story on the Baak, a notoriously wicked figure that frequently appears in Assamese mythology. The dread element is increased by the way he seems to have deftly woven a narrative around certain acknowledged facts concerning the Baak. Hip Hop Tamizha's soundtrack complements the story, with a specific lullaby song having a strong recall factor.
