Mother's Day - When Pooja Hegde Mom Forced Her to be an Actress

SIBY JEYYA
Actress pooja Hedge learned how to multitask from her mother Lataa Hegde, while her father Manjunath Hegde is credited with giving her the actor's composed temperament, according to her mother. Lataa, who is in charge of Pooja's movie obligations, draws parallels between her and her actress-daughter.

"We are diligent individuals. Any goal we set our minds to, no matter what, we can accomplish. That seems to be something that exists. Being moral is another trait we have in common. We shall keep our word if we have committed to someone. We also tend to be rather homebodies. We enjoy our house and have a small yet close-knit group of pals. In an honest conversation with us, Lataa says, "For us, a good time is spent with your family and best friend. But yeah, I am more hyper, she is calmer than me, that she gets from her dad."

Unbeknownst to you, Lataa is a pure blue Mumbaikar. She completed her BSc in Life Sciences at the government law college, followed by a PR degree at Xavier, and an MBA program after being born and raised in the town. The 64-year-old goes on to say that although her "typical South indian family" encouraged her to get married and go anywhere she pleased, she was unable to pursue her original goal of studying medicine since there were not enough seats in Mumbai.

Unbeknownst to you, Lataa is a pure blue Mumbaikar. She completed her BSc in Life Sciences at the government law college, followed by a PR degree at Xaviers, and an MBA program after being born and raised in the town. The 64-year-old goes on to say that although her "typical South indian family" encouraged her to get married and go anywhere she pleased, she was unable to pursue her original goal of studying medicine since there were not enough seats in Mumbai.

Multitasking, Lataa married at the age of 25, completed her MBA at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Marketing Management, and then quickly secured employment in advertising. She had to quit her work, though, very quickly.

My spouse was involved in advertising as well, and one of us had to leave the field. I was very certain that I wanted two children, that I would raise them close in age, and that I would be a stay-at-home mother until my children were four or five. I thus quit my work. After pooja was born two years later, I knew I wanted to do something to go back to work when she reached four," she remembers.
