The second track, Angaaron (The Couple Song), from the much-anticipated film pushpa 2: The Rule, was released today. The video stars allu arjun as Pushparaj and rashmika mandanna as Srivalli. devi sri prasad wrote the song, which shreya ghoshal sings well. The response from the hindi audience is reasonable. The music is lovely and engaging, and shreya ghoshal delivers a fantastic vocal performance. However, the lyrics are terrible and seem like they came from a dubbing film.
When compared to the song Srivalli from pushpa Part 1, Angaaron falls somewhat short. Srivalli was more visually appealing and had excellent lyrics. Another disadvantage is that the Angaaron video has no real sequences from the film, instead displaying mainly behind-the-scenes shots. While this may be acceptable to the telugu audience, the producers wanted to insert some snippets from the actual song to build greater interest in the North.
Ganesh Acharya's choreography in the song video is quite ordinary, and it appears to be created more to inspire social media clips than to impress the viewer. Overall, the Sooseki (Angaaron) song is adequate, but it does not create any more buzz or enthusiasm for the hindi audience to see pushpa 2 on the first day, first show. If filmmaker sukumar successfully incorporates and visualises the song in the film, it may gain fame after its release. Within 8 hours, the hindi version of the song received about 3 million views and 200,000 likes on YouTube, which is satisfactory but not outstanding.
