Gangs of Godavari began with Vishwak's narration discussing the carnage in Lanka, followed by a flashback. The opening part of The Gangs of Godavari is underwhelming, with an antiquated narrative and similarly archaic direction. It lacks the characteristic Vishwaksen-style sequences. The Pre-Interval and Interval episodes have a broad appeal. However, the film lacks any outstanding moments and often challenges the audience's patience.

However, hero Viswak gives a good performance. A few mass episodes in the first half, as well as an item song, may appeal to rural audiences, but they cannot save this bad picture. The film's narrative and production quality are subpar. It's no surprise that the film was repeatedly delayed, and it was clear that it never achieved the expected results.

"Gangs of Godavari" is a BAD film. Despite the vast plot canvas, the director's execution falls far short. The constant side-switch between distinct groups lacks explanation, and the twists and turns are excessive. The mla election incidents are comical. Overall, it is a major letdown for both the audience and Vishwak fans.
