Telangana Hyderabad - Cattle traders protest against police attempts to seize animals
There was a tense mood at the market once the police came, which was followed by the appearance of the All india Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). Several party workers, along with AIMIM party leaders, had gone to Santosh nagar in Hyderabad's Old City to support local cattle.
While it is unclear what prompted the police to inspect livestock in Santosh nagar unexpectedly, political watchers believe it was an attempt by right-wing organisations like as the Bajrang Dal to stir problems. Such crowds frequently intercept trucks and, despite police involvement, demand forceful measures against livestock traffickers.
"They utilise these photos on social media to promote fake information in other states with the last leg of voting. Such concerns are highlighted to incite hostility towards Muslims," the observer stated.
