Tammanaah Bhatia's Aranmanai 4 provided a reprieve for tamil film this year, and now an action-thriller has come to popularity on the first day of its release. Garudan has debuted at 3.5 crore at the box office, shattering existing records and challenging them. Soori's action-thriller has grossed 4 crore internationally, but it is projected to expand over the weekend due to outstanding word-of-mouth and box office success at home.
