The drinking water supply to patancheru, RC Puram, ashok Nagar, jyothi Nagar, Lingampally, Chandanagar, Gangaram, Madinaguda, Hafeezpet, Doyens Colony, sbi training center, BHEL factory/township, HCU, and patancheru industrial area will be affected from friday at 6 am to saturday due to maintenance work being done up to a 900 mm diameter pipeline junction, according to a statement released by the hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB).
HMWS&SB's operations and maintenance divisions 8 and 15 are handling this job. Due to a 24-hour supply disruption, residents in these locations have been asked to use drinking water sparingly.
Following receipt of a complaint at their customer service number, 155313, officials of the hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) are mandated to address issues regarding sewage overflow and tainted drinking water within thirty minutes.
During the monsoon, authorities at "Jala Soudha" and HMWS&SB managing director Sudarshan reddy reviewed the necessary precautions to be taken to avoid unfortunate situations caused by rain, water-logging, and manhole openings, among other difficulties.
Reddy gave the order for sewage supervisors to monitor deep manholes and for officials to designate a person to regularly assess each of the 120 water-logging hotspots.
