Government and Police Confusing Hyderabad Citizens

SIBY JEYYA
Regarding the implementation of the law that requires all commercial enterprises in hyderabad to close between 10:30 and 11 PM, there has been a great deal of misunderstanding since yesterday. The police agency was told to implement this restriction to lower late-night crime rates by chief minister Revanth Reddy, according to sources, after he reviewed the law and order situation in the city. Many from other areas harshly denounced this choice.

Many said that early closures will negatively impact their livelihoods because late-night business is essential to various parts of Hyderabad. They said that while lowering crime is important, thousands of people's livelihoods shouldn't have to be sacrificed in the process. Several IT staff members criticized this decision as well, pointing out that many of them depend on late-night food vendors and work night shifts.

The hyderabad police emphadata-sized on social media that no such regulation was being enforced in response to this harsh criticism. "Recent reports on social media that the city police are shutting stores at 10:30 or 11:00 PM are completely false. The official post stated, "The stores and establishments shall open/close by the presently established norms alone.

But a post from minister Ponguleti srinivas Reddy this morning sparked the discussion again. A post on his social media account said that businesses had to close by 10:30 or 11 PM, per a police department directive. Conversely, the identical information was also communicated by advertising from the Langar Houz police Station. people are angry and perplexed by the government's and the police department's inconsistent claims, and they are criticizing the authorities for providing unclear information.
