The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will present detained chief minister and AAP leader arvind kejriwal before it in relation to the liquor policy case, hence the security of Delhi's Rouse Avenue court has been stepped up. In addition, Arvind Kejriwal's appeal against a delhi High court ruling that put a hold on the bail that a lower court had granted him in the liquor policy case is set to be heard by the supreme court on april 23.

Sources claim that arvind kejriwal could be taken into jail by the CBI. On Monday, the federal agency recorded the delhi Chief Minister's remarks while questioning him in tihar jail about the liquor policy matter. tuesday saw the cbi file an application with a special court requesting Arvind Kejriwal's production warrant, which the court eventually granted. Today at 10 am, the delhi chief minister will be produced by the cbi before a trial court, most likely before to the start of the supreme court hearing.

Arvind kejriwal may be formally arrested in front of a court as he is currently under judicial custody in connection with an Enforcement Directorate case. Even if the supreme court overrules the delhi High Court's suspension of his bail, the delhi chief minister would not be allowed to leave detention if the cbi captures him.

The cbi was accused by the AAP of "conspiring to register a fake case" against arvind kejriwal in their heated reaction to the development.

"Sources have told me that the Centre is planning to file a fictitious cbi case against delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal and have him detained by the cbi, even though there is a 100% chance that he would be granted bail by the supreme Court. AAP rajya sabha MP sanjay singh stated, "The country is united behind arvind kejriwal as they recognise this."

Arvind kejriwal was detained on march 21 by the Enforcement Directorate. On june 20, a delhi court granted him bail and ordered his release on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh. But the delhi High court received a challenge to the bail decision from the ED.

The delhi High court postponed Arvind Kejriwal's bail the next day and said it will make its decision on june 25. Then, his legal team petitioned the supreme court, insisting that the hold on his bail be lifted.

But instead of issuing an injunction right away, the supreme court told arvind kejriwal to wait for the High Court's ruling.

In its ruling on tuesday, the delhi High court stated that Arvind Kejriwal's release under the terms of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), which the chief minister was accused of violating, was not outlined by the trial court.
