On Thursday, june 27, hyderabad saw heavy rains in several areas of the city as the monsoon season moved on. Generally overcast skies, according to the indian Meteorological Department in Hyderabad. The city is expected to get light to moderate rain or thundershowers during the day, with a few strong spells that are accompanied by gusty winds (30–40 kmph) in the evening or at night.
Over the next five days, there is a chance of rain in the following zones: Charminar, Khairtabad, Kukatpally, LB nagar, Secunderabad, and Serilingampally. The weather radar map represents that “few places in Lingampally, Kukatpally, Charminar, Uppal, Lb nagar could experience intense spells.”

In order to handle waterlogging difficulties, particularly in low-lying regions, ghmc and other civic authorities have organised a total of 534 Monsoon Emergency Teams as the monsoon approaches the city.
242 static teams, 29 teams dedicated to CRMP roads, 30 DRF teams, 13 police department teams, 41 electrical department teams, 22 HMWSSB teams, and 157 mobile teams are among these teams.
