Don't behave like Rahul Gandhi - Modi to NDA

In his first speech to the governing bloc's members during the first session of parliament since taking office for a third term, prime minister Narendra Modi presided over the national democratic alliance (NDA) parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday. The prime minister instructed all nda MPs to conduct themselves differently during the meeting than Congressman rahul gandhi did in the Lok Sabha.

Speaking to the opposition, the prime minister remarked that some of them had grown restless since, since Jawaharlal Nehru, no prime leader has been able to secure three consecutive terms—a feat accomplished by a "tea-seller."

The Motion of Thanks to President Droupadi Murmu's address to a joint session of parliament is the subject of deliberations in both the lok sabha and Rajya Sabha, coinciding with the nda meeting.
Speaking to reporters following the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs minister Kiren Rijiju stated, "Today, the prime minister gave us an important mantra." Each member of the House, he continued, was chosen to serve the country. Serving the country comes first, regardless of the party they are affiliated with."

"Each and every nda mp must put the nation first in their job. The prime minister also gave us excellent advice on how Members of parliament should behave, emphasising that each member should properly and legally represent their district in the House. He also advised us to get knowledgeable about other important topics of interest, according to Rijiju.

"In addition, the prime minister made one request. There was no political objective behind the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, and every mp should visit it with their family. The Union minister stated, "This was an attempt to inform the entire nation about the work of each prime minister, to recognise it, and to draw lessons from it.

Union minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan told reporters during the meeting that it was important to learn from the Prime Minister's experience given the recent instances of parliamentary norms being broken. Today, we received his advice on it."

PM Modi is anticipated to respond to the debates in both Houses later today.
