Chandrababu Naidu Demands Additional Funds for Andhra Pradesh from Centre

On Friday, chief minister Nara chandrababu naidu persisted in her meetings with union ministers and officials, requesting that the central government temporarily withhold ap till its financial situation improves. He went for more borrowings to pay off the debt that had accumulated after the split. Without restricting it to micro-irrigation, drinking water, and horticulture initiatives being carried out in Rayalaseema, Prakasam, and the north coastal areas of andhra pradesh, he desired a ninety percent grant component in central government schemes.
 

According to the andhra pradesh Reorganisation Act, the chief minister of ap stated that industrial incentives should be taken into account for the state's underdeveloped areas. He requested that the polavaram National Irrigation Project be completed as soon as possible and that the government support the development of amaravati as the nation's capital. In addition to building the required infrastructure at the state's four industrial nodes, Naidu requested that the center offer andhra pradesh incentives for its industrial growth.
 
The chief minister visited Union health minister J.P. Nadda and Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh that day. He had talks on developing Andhra Pradesh's military-industrial ecosystem. He desired assistance from the indian government for ap to modernize its healthcare system. To formulate and implement a comprehensive development plan for andhra pradesh, including the coastal belt, with a particular focus on Visakhapatnam, Naidu met with B.V.R. Subramaniyam, CEO of NITI Aayog.

Between Bengaluru and Chennai, the chief minister desired Hindupur to grow into a major industrial centre. He asked the centre to look into the possibility of growing the blue economy in the region. In addition to possible investors, Naidu also met with the senior leadership of CII and FICCI, requesting that they look into growth and development prospects in Andhra Pradesh. All of the discussions proved to be fruitful and will set the state up for a prosperous future, according to official sources.
