Unemployed youth from Telangana to call for ‘Chalo Delhi’
The telangana Public service Commission (TGPSC) in Nampally, which resembled a genuine fortress, strongly walled by razor-sharp concertina wire and guarded by police troops, was the scene of a major protest on friday by the unemployed youth of telangana State, under a heavy security clampdown. The demonstrators battled with the police, demanding the quick publishing of a work calendar and the fulfillment of poll pledges made during the recent assembly elections, including an increase in Group II and III openings.
To keep the demonstrators under control, barricades and a sizable number of law enforcement officers—including local police, rapid action forces, and quick reaction teams—were sent in. But under the direction of Gellu srinivas Yadav, some fifty representatives of the BRSV student branch were able to get past security barriers and hold a sit-in protest on the main thoroughfare in Nampally.
Protesters held signs critical of the congress administration, charging it of not keeping its word after the assembly elections. They particularly asked that additional Group II and III posts be created and that open positions be filled.

The group's job candidate Mothilal Naik, who embarked on a hunger strike at gandhi Hospital, threatened to organise a march in hyderabad with thirty thousand participants if the demands were not fulfilled. Additionally, he demanded that MLAs and ministers in the congress quit.

Another job candidate in the group, Sindhuja, was curious as to why the congress administration was subjecting the unemployed young who had supported the establishment of the grand old party to such harsh circumstances. "The government needs to comply with our requests right away if it fears the youth unemployment rate. We're going to announce a chalo delhi program shortly," she continued.
Several demonstrators were arrested by police during the event. After being transferred to the Goshamahal police stadium, the arrested individuals carried on their demonstration there. BRS leaders also showed up at the Begum Bazar police station, requesting the young people who are being held free.

Protesters threatened to intensify their agitation if their demands were not met, and the tense situation persisted throughout the day. They called for the resignation of MLAs and congress Ministers. Errolla srinivas and other BRS leaders went to the Begum Bazar police station and demanded that the young people without jobs who were being held be released. However, he was sent away.
