Telangana - DSC exams to commence tomorrow despite massive protests
The teacher recruitment exam will be administered using a computer-based testing format for the first time. As a result, the Department of school education has set up more than 50 facilities around the State. Up to 2,79,956 applications have been submitted through the DSC to fill 11,062 teaching positions.
Additionally, the recruitment for Group II services has been set for august 7 and 8, which falls just one day after the DSC test ends. Since most candidates for teacher jobs also wanted to be considered for Group II services, these candidates questioned why the Group II test was scheduled to take place just one day after the DSC. As their requests for exam postponements were ignored, several candidates burned their hall pass as a sign of their displeasure with the administration.
