Elon Musk Congratulates PM Modi On Becoming Most Followed World Leader On X
Elon Musk, the tech entrepreneur and CEO of the microblogging site X, congratulated prime minister Narendra Modi for surpassing 100 million followers on social media and becoming the most followed leader. “Congratulations PM @NarendraModi on being the most followed world leader!” Musk said in an X post. PM Modi is now the most followed world leader on the social media platform X with over 100 million followers.
Taking to X, the prime minister wrote, “A hundred million on X! Happy to be on this vibrant medium and cherish the discussion, debate, insights, people’s blessings, constructive criticism, and more. Looking forward to an equally engaging time in the future as well.”
When comparing the number of followers that different indian leaders have on social media, PM Modi has a notably larger following than the others. akhilesh yadav of the Samajwadi party has 19.9 million followers, West bengal Chief minister Mamata Banerjee has 7.4 million, lok sabha member rahul gandhi has 26.4 million, and delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal has 27.5 million. Tejashwi Yadav has 5.2 million followers, Lalu prasad Yadav of the RJD has 6.3 million, while ncp Chief sharad pawar has 2.9 million.
PM Modi is significantly ahead of other international leaders, such as Pope Francis (18.5 million), HH Sheikh Mohammed, the current ruler of dubai (11.2 million), and US President Joe Biden (38.1 million).
