In this, 158 people were arrested and 12 had their licenses canceled for 3-6 months. Most of the people caught driving under the influence of alcohol are two-wheeler riders. Out of the 2,483 people arrested in the last two weeks, 2,034 are said to be two-wheeler riders! According to Section 185 of the Motor vehicles Act, if you drive under the influence of alcohol, you will be fined Rs. 10,000 or six months in jail!
