Rain continues to wreak havoc in Himachal. Heavy rains occurred in most parts of the state last night. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a flash flood alert in 8 districts today. Una SDM Jatin Lal arrived on sunday to inspect Bathu village and flood-affected areas. During this, he talked to the villagers and also gave guidelines to the officials.


Bodies of three girls recovered

While talking to the media, SDM Jatin Lal said that the floods following heavy rains in the district have caused heavy damage. Along with factories and industries, government property has also been damaged. Three bodies have also been recovered. The administration is trying to provide all possible relief in the affected areas. Let us tell you that four children were swept away in flood waters in Bathri of Harouli in Una. Out of this, the bodies of 3 girls have been recovered and one is still missing. The deceased have been identified as 7-year-old Rashi Kumari, Manisha and Tanu. All three girls were from Bihar. Their family members work in a factory in Bathu-Bathdi.


Markanda river water level rises

After heavy rains in Nahan, the water level of Markanda river has risen. people trapped in the water were pulled out with the help of JCB. Nahan SDM Salim Azam told the media that we had received news of seven people being trapped in the water. They have been rescued. The SDM appealed to all the people living near the rivers to shift from here to another place, as a rain alert has still been issued. Let us tell you that due to the flood in Markanda river, Hanuman temple has also been submerged in the river. More than 40 roads have also been closed due to heavy rains.
