Nani gets into Unnecessary Controversy

SIBY JEYYA
Some people appear to enjoy stirring up unneeded controversy and disseminating animosity toward films and celebrities in today's social media environment. The newest victim of this tendency is Nani's forthcoming movie Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, as fringe members have gone to social media to cause havoc. Some fans started posting images of the new trailer after it was released, accusing the movie of appeasing minorities.

"Is Nani's Saripodhaa Sanivaaram another appeasement movie after V?" a person asked. Minorities are shown in the trailer as downtrodden, with the hero standing by them. When will this crazy stop? It's a deceptively subtle kind of propaganda. Another said, "Shyam Singha Roy, directed by nani, was also an appeasement film that denigrated Hindu Sanatana Dharma."

Such remarks just highlight an increasing trend of unfounded allegations. He has been doing this for a time, according to one accusation. He always portrays Hindus as the issue, from bhale bhale magadivoy to Ante Sundaraniki, shyam Singha Roy, V, and others. These same voices sought to incite controversy around deepika Padukone's choice of color for her bikini in the movie Pathaan, which they intended to boycott. But Pathaan went on to become an All Time Blockbuster, demonstrating that such clamor is insufficient to decide a movie's destiny.

With Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, let's hope nani delivers another strong movie and silences these trolls who are out to destroy the film business, foment division, and propagate hatred in the name of defending religion.
