Om Birla, was given grand welcome, sisters tied Rakhi'!!!
lok sabha Speaker om birla arrived on a visit to Sangod and Ladpura area on saturday (August 17). A grand welcome was organized till late night on his arrival. om birla came to Sangod for the first time after getting the responsibility of lok sabha Speaker again.
During this, when om birla reached Sangod main market, different business organizations, social organizations and citizens of the city welcomed and greeted him with garlands at various places. Speaker om birla also accepted the greetings of everyone with affection. Addressing the Nagarik Abhinandan program organized at gayatri Mata Mandir Square, om birla said, "You have empowered your public representatives by giving trust and blessings. Now it is our responsibility to work in accordance with your hopes and aspirations." He said, "Together we will empower the village, the poor and the farmers and will leave no stone unturned in the development of the area."
It took 11 hours to cover a journey of one hour
The process of welcoming Speaker om birla who reached Sangod started from DCM Road itself. It took more than 11 hours to reach Sangod. Birla was welcomed by workers and many organizations from Kansua, DCM Chauraha, Raipura, Dhakadkhedi, Kaithoon to Sangod. Ladpura mla Kalpana Devi was also present during this time. In the welcome program, om birla said that about Rs 200 crore has been sanctioned for important development works related to road, electricity, education, health and irrigation in Sangod area. Speaker om birla further said that whether it is the work of school-college for the people of Sangod area or electricity-water work for farmers or development of roads for the common people, all the work will move forward at a fast pace.
