The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), an action thriller starring kollywood star Vijay, is set to release in theaters on september 5 amid extraordinary anticipation and fanfare. The movie's runtime was restricted to two hours and fifty-nine minutes after it was recently censored.

It is now reported that the CBFC has recensored GOAT, which is an uncommon achievement. In addition, the movie now features an additional five minutes of content, making its total runtime three hours, three minutes, and fourteen seconds. With this, GOAT surpasses the length of Vijay's previous longest film in his career, Nanban, a buddy comedy-drama from 2012 that ran for three hours and eight minutes.
The average runtime of an action movie is less than two hours and thirty minutes. Vijay, venkat Prabhu, the director of GOAT, and the rest of the crew appear to be quite confident in their work, as seen by their decision to add around five minutes during the second censor examination.

In Game of Thrones, Vijay will play both a father and a son. Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prasanth, Prabhu Deva, Laila, Jayaram, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, and more well-known actors in important parts are among the ensemble cast members in the movie. This esteemed project has been funded by the AGS Entertainment brand, with yuvan shankar raja serving as the composer.
