Rain is wreaking havoc, red alert in these districts!!!
Catastrophic rains continue in Gujarat. Due to heavy rains, flood situation has arisen in many districts of the state. Rivers are in spate. Meanwhile, the indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has again issued a red alert for rain for Thursday. Heavy rains are expected at different places in Saurashtra and Kutch.

The Meteorological Department has predicted winds blowing at a speed of 45 to 55 kmph in western parts of the South-West arabian sea, most parts of West-Central. The speed of these winds can also reach 65 kmph. Winds can blow at a speed of 55 to 65 kmph on the pakistan coast adjoining the gujarat coast and the coasts of the north-east and east-central arabian sea adjoining it. Fishermen have been advised not to go to these areas.
28 people died in incidents related to Gujarat
So far 28 people have died in incidents related to heavy rains in Gujarat. Flood situation persists in vadodara city due to heavy rains. The water of Vishwamitri river has broken its banks and entered residential areas. Buildings, roads and vehicles are submerged in water due to which the army is engaged in relief work.
More than 17,800 people have been evacuated to safer places. At the same time, about 1200 people trapped in the flood have been rescued. Rain havoc continued for the fourth consecutive day in gujarat on Wednesday. Porbandar, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Dwarka in Saurashtra region received 50 mm to 200 mm of rain in a period of 12 hours from 6 pm on Wednesday. The highest rainfall of 185 mm was recorded in Bhanvad taluka of Dwarka district.
