Rains Lash Andhra and Telangana - 19 dead, schools shut, 140 trains cancelled
A low-pressure system that caused the severe rain and flooding has resulted in road closures, cutting off many towns and trapping hundreds of people.
Inquiring about the situation in both states, prime minister Narendra Modi talked with the chief ministers of andhra pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, and telangana, revanth Reddy.
