Roads and other infrastructure have also been damaged due to floods.

49 people have died
The highest rainfall of 180 percent has been recorded in Kutch, Gujarat. At the same time, the lowest rainfall of 94 percent has been recorded in North Gujarat. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains occurred in many areas of gujarat from 25 to 30 August. During this period, many incidents like lightning, wall collapse and drowning occurred, due to which 49 people died. Out of them, the families of 22 dead have been paid Rs 4 lakh each as compensation. At the same time, 2618 animals also died during this period. An amount of Rs 1.78 lakh has been given to their owners as compensation.
37 thousand people were taken to safe places
At the same time, in view of heavy rains, 17 teams of NDRF, 27 teams of SDRF and 9 army contingents, apart from air Force and Coast Guard teams have also been deployed in the state. Who have rescued more than 37000 people so far. 42,083 people have been taken to safe places. Whereas 53 people have been taken to safe places by air.
