GOAT Fails to Beat LEO at Box Office
On its first day, the movie brought in a total of Rs 43 crore at the domestic box office. The majority of this income, or Rs 38.3 crore, came from its tamil performances. The movie's telugu and hindi screenings came next, earning Rs 3 crore and Rs 1.7 crore, respectively, according to the film trade website Sacnilk. The achievement is noteworthy because Thalapathy Is The Goat, the hindi adaptation of The Greatest of All Time, or GOAT, has not been shown in any of North India's major cinema chains, including PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.
Because the producers did not follow the theater requirements, the movie was not distributed in national multiplex chains. The producers of all new hindi films would be required by these standards to keep an 8-week buffer between the theatrical release and the OTT platform debut.
