Is This 'The Last Real Election' in USA?
Illegal immigration has become a big concern for the US in recent years. This year, it crossed the Canadian data-border in historic numbers and sparked concerns about Biden's administration. In the forthcoming presidential debate, Elon Musk has added his voice and made a daring assertion, while harris and trump will also be speaking.
Musk said the Democrats want to legalize 15 million immigrants "as soon as possible, as well as bring in tens of millions more" in a recent post on X. He said that this would "turn America into a permanent one-party system" by shifting all of the swing states to the Democratic Party. "This is the last real election if trump loses," he warns as he closes his message.
Take this perspective with a grain of salt, though, as Musk has been publicly endorsing trump in the forthcoming elections. Even more, trump declared that he would organize a Taskforce under Musk's direction to examine the federal government and suggest significant changes. Musk's words are therefore equally credible as those of any other Republican.
Furthermore, Musk has not provided any proof as to whence he obtained this enormous figure. He asserts that every Democratic leader has said as much in public, but there is no evidence to support this assertion. According to harris, she will provide illegal immigrants "an earned pathway to citizenship." There isn't an official number, though.
Conversely, trump is the one who unveiled his comprehensive plan to deport 15–20 million illegal immigrants from the United States. This figure is thought to be greatly inflated because there are many fewer illegal immigrants than this. It's also worth considering if it's really feasible to let 15 million people into your nation all of a sudden. It appears that Musk is exaggerating his remarks. Contrary to what he warns us, the US will continue to have a two-party system for the foreseeable future. However, it is evident that the two parties have very different immigration policies.
