For the past several weeks, hyderabad Disaster Response-Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has been the buzz of Telangana. In addition to regularly destroying buildings that encroach on lakes and ponds, HYDRAA also regularly issues notifications to those owners.

In addition, the government said that it will open a special HYDRAA police station to expedite the investigation of unlawful encroachments. According to recent reports, the government intends to enact a regulation mandating that before building any constructions in or near lakes or ponds, people must acquire a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from HYDRAA. There will likely be a formal statement on this soon, according to sources.

People are reluctant to purchase homes near lakes because HYDRAA started tearing down structures in such locations. As a result, the lack of sales is causing losses in several under-construction projects. As a result, many believe that it will be advantageous for both purchasers and builders to receive a NOC from HYDRAA prior to beginning a project. chief minister Revanth Reddy, on the other hand, stressed that unlawful encroachments on water bodies were the cause of the recent floods and said that HYDRAA will not hesitate to take action against illegal encroachments, regardless of how powerful the persons implicated may be.
