HYDRAA formally said in a report that it turned in to the government today that it had, in the past two months, destroyed 262 buildings in 23 different regions, recovering around 111.72 acres of land.

The city's lakes and ponds' Full Tank Level (FTL) and Buffer Zones have seen HYDRAA actively destroy buildings over the last two months. The report states that three unlawfully built structures were demolished on Manemma Street in Ramnagar, fourteen in Gagan Pahad, twenty-four next to ameenpur Lake, forty-two close to Sunnam Cheruvu Lake (Madhapur), and thirteen close to Kathva Lake in Dundigal.

Ameenpur, including 51 acres, has the most amount of unlawful encroachments. Ten acres of encroached property surrounding Sunnam Cheruvu in madhapur were also regained by HYDRAA. Since HYDRAA now has a dedicated police station, more demolitions are anticipated to occur quickly. Additionally, there are rumors that the government intends to enact a new law requiring HYDRAA to provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) before any structures may be built next to lakes or other bodies of water.
