But on the 23rd of this month, there will be heavy rains for the next 4-5 days due to the formation of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. If the low pressure becomes a storm, the intensity of rain may increase.
Presently, the surdata-face circulation is spread over southwest bengal at a height of 3.1-5.8 km above sea level. Apart from this, another surdata-face circulation will be formed in the andaman area today. It will move northwestward and strengthen as a low pressure over the West Central Bay of bengal on the 23rd of this month. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be light to moderate rains for the next three days, followed by heavy rains. However, the previous news has clarified that the low pressure may turn into a storm. The IMD said whether it will become a cyclone or not depends on the situation at that time. If it becomes a storm, there will be more heavy rains.
At present, under the influence of low pressure, moderate to heavy rains will occur in the coastal districts in the next 4-5 days. The southwest monsoon is also going to start withdrawing. With that, the weather will be favorable for the northeast monsoon winds. Due to the influence of low pressure, heavy rains will occur in Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Anakapalli, Parvathipuram Manyam and Anakapalli districts of Uttarandhra. Moderate to heavy rains will occur in east Godavari, Kakinada, Konaseema, Alluri Sitaramaraj, and west godavari districts.
