Triptii Dimri, who became well-known with the success of the movie Animal, has talked about the highs and lows she had while pursuing her career in film. The actor, who is originally from Uttarakhand, recollected the "mean" remarks made about her and the number of individuals who attempted to bring her down in an interview with katrina kaif on her YouTube channel for her brand, Kay Beauty.

"I am from Uttarakhand, but my parents and family are in Delhi, where I was born and raised. It was challenging for me to go out every day in front of more than 50–60 people in a room when I moved to bombay (Mumbai)," the woman stated. There are people in my family and in society who have spoken poorly about my parents. Something along the lines of "Why did you send your daughter to this career? She's going to get spoilt, hang around with the wrong people, make bad decisions for herself, and no one will want to marry her, so she won't be getting married anytime soon."

"You know, when you wake up and there's no work, you lose hope," she continued. "There was a time when I was confused." However, I was aware that I was unable to tell my parents, "No, I did not do anything," when I returned." Following the premiere of her debut film, laila Majnu, Triptii also recalled how delighted her parents had been of her, saying her father had phoned and "was just very happy."
