'Animal' Actress' Relatives Warns Her Parents that No One Will Marry Her
"I am from Uttarakhand, but my parents and family are in Delhi, where I was born and raised. It was challenging for me to go out every day in front of more than 50–60 people in a room when I moved to bombay (Mumbai)," the woman stated. There are people in my family and in society who have spoken poorly about my parents. Something along the lines of "Why did you send your daughter to this career? She's going to get spoilt, hang around with the wrong people, make bad decisions for herself, and no one will want to marry her, so she won't be getting married anytime soon."
"You know, when you wake up and there's no work, you lose hope," she continued. "There was a time when I was confused." However, I was aware that I was unable to tell my parents, "No, I did not do anything," when I returned." Following the premiere of her debut film, laila Majnu, Triptii also recalled how delighted her parents had been of her, saying her father had phoned and "was just very happy."
