Coldplay Concert Tickets in India Reselling for Up to ₹7.78 Lakhs
Dedicated Coldplay fans in india are still grappling with disappointment after tickets for the band’s three announced concerts in mumbai sold out within hours. As they deal with the frustration of missing out, a secondary ticketing site, Viagogo, has seen users listing their tickets at exorbitant prices.
A recent check by News18 Showsha revealed that tickets originally priced at ₹4,000 are being resold for ₹778,952 each. Another listing showed tickets that initially cost ₹12,500 being resold for ₹1.21 lakhs, while lounge tickets originally priced at ₹35,000 are listed for ₹1.01 lakhs. One lounge ticket reportedly sold for ₹270,575 this morning, although these claims couldn’t be verified.
BookMyShow has addressed the resale issue, reminding users that ticket scalping is illegal in India. They stated, “Unauthorized platforms are listing tickets for Coldplay’s music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025, which are invalid.” They urged fans to avoid scams and confirmed that BookMyShow is the only official ticket seller.
A representative from BookMyShow explained that they had implemented a queueing system to manage the high demand, addressing any suspicious activity quickly. Due to overwhelming interest, an additional mumbai show was added shortly after the initial sales.

Ticket locations will be revealed when fans pick them up on the day of the concert, with seating available throughout the venue.
Coldplay's performances in mumbai are scheduled for january 18, 19, and 21, 2025.
