Veer Zara was re-released in a few theaters last weekend. Due to high demand, the 250 presentations that were scheduled for the opening had to be expanded to 400 by Sunday. yash chopra directed Veer Zara, which was released in 2004. rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta, and Shah Rukh Khan are its stars.

The beloved cross-data-border romance returned to theaters and grossed an incredible 90 lakh rupees in its first weekend of release. The 100 crore milestone is just three crore rupees away. It begs the question: Will its current winning trajectory enable it to join the 100 crore club?

Even after 20 years, Veer Zara still surpasses 2024's high-budget productions. The Buckingham Murders starring kareena kapoor Khan, which only made about 5 crore after its initial release in India, was particularly affected by the criticism. Even with only a few screens, Veer Zara has done remarkably well. This proves that people still like watching vintage classic movies.

Viewers would like to support the re-release of original blockbuster films or films with potentially interesting scripts since they feel that the new films and their scripts are repetitious. Now that The Buckingham Murders by hansal mehta is available on OTT, there may be a chance for it to survive. Veer Zara might soon reach the 100 crore milestone if it keeps its followers in its heart.
