Devara Seems to be a Rehash of Several Old Movies - Noticed These?

Janhvi Kapoor's involvement is restricted to three or four unimportant sequences and a song, and it only comes in the second half. Her persona lacks nuance and doesn't even provide interesting entertainment. She fell short of the expectations.

To a certain extent, it's acceptable that the second half centers on NTR's secondary character. But the ending is cliched and seems to have been taken straight out of Bahubali's opening act. If Bahubali: The Beginning's conclusion was "Why did Kattappa kill Bahubali?" then this is Devara: Part 1 closes with a comparable query.

It seems like the entire movie was influenced by a number of other movies. The combat scenes in the ring in the second half are reminiscent of scenes from HanuMan; Janhvi's traditional costume in the rural scenes is similar to Samantha's appearance in Rangasthalam; and the dynamic between Devara and Bhaira is similar to that of bahubali and Bhallaladeva.

Although the film's conflict point is well-executed, it doesn't elicit the appropriate feelings from the audience. Anything that occurs on television doesn't seem to have a profound impact on the viewer; rather, it seems more like information. This illustrates how little research was done before writing the script.

The characters and storyline of the movie aren't really unique or inventive. In terms of content, this movie is marginally superior to acharya, however acharya at least featured some nice songs. Devara's song selection is really disappointing. It could only be appealing to people who can sit through a lifeless action drama. The film's effect is mostly focused on battle scenes and gore rather than other aspects.
