Tollywood Young tiger Junior ntr - koratala siva is a crazy combination.  Again after 8 years, the movie Devara came in the combination of both of them. Being a successful combination being NTR's film after a huge blockbuster hit like RRR, and being a film where ntr is appearing solo after six years, expectations are high on Devara. Since acharya with chiranjeevi is a film coming from koratala siva after the disaster, he also worked diligently to make it a hit. Even though the song - trailer did not live up to the expectations, there are huge expectations for Devara. How much of the world's audience today? Story:
There are four villages in the Ratnagiri region on the coast of the red Sea. These four-year-olds earn a living by smuggling contraband by sea for Muruga (Murali Sharma) without getting caught by the coastguards. Devara who lives in one of these four villages is brave enough to inspire fear. He no longer wants to work with Muraga after knowing that a child from his area has lost his life due to the weapons that came through the sea route. But this is not accepted by Bhaira (Saif ali Khan), the leader of another village. He wants to rule Sandra by excluding Devara. That will start a fight between the two. At this time Bhaira plans to kill Devara in Srikanth's sister Pelli. After that Devara disappears without being seen by anyone. 12 years pass like this. What did the son-in-law (NTR) do for his father Devara who is in hiding? Why does the son-in-law also want to kill his father Devara with Bhaira? What happened to Devara? What is the truth that the family knows about Devara? Why does the groom even want to die? This Devara movie is the answer to those questions.
Analysis:
The entire first part of the movie is based on the story of the red sea, Devara, and Bhairava's characters, battles, fair, and weapon worship. Devara realizes what they are doing is wrong. Till then the story moves very slowly. But the audience has to be patient and watch. From the interval bang, the story feels off track. Baira's steps to kill Devara and then Devara going into hiding saying that I will protect Sandra, the story seems to have lost its groove. Even the interval did not bring the hype of the film. Ever since Devara goes into hiding, every scene is left to the imagination. The audience who watches the movie will understand that the scared Vara is taking the place of his father and directing the whole story.
If you look at the hit films that koratala siva has directed, you will see the strength in the story. Even though the story is a bit haphazard, he takes a good social cause. Weaves good scenes around it and leads the story. The story is slow, complaints about lack of elevations have been there before in Koratala's films. He missed the novelty in this movie. He lost his grip on the story and the dialogue did not explode. Every scene from the interval is predictable. Even if he cast a strong villain like ali KHAN' target='_blank' title='saif ali khan-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">saif ali khan, he could not make that character as powerful. This is NTR's fifth film in dual roles. Tarak's body language and emotions in the role of Devara are impressive. In terms of acting, ntr cannot be beaten. Late Sridevi's daughter Janvikapoor's first film in Telugu. She gave a huge elevation to her character and made her look stunning. Except for one song, she has no priority. All in all, it took less than 15 minutes. A crucial role for the film but not a role with the scope that he does. It seems clear that they were taken for these roles only for the North market. Among the rest of the actors, srikanth, Muralisharma, Ajay, Shruti, etc. acted in key roles.
Technically the film is superior. The producers have not compromised anywhere in terms of visual effects, production design, and quality. A lot of money was spent on the underwater scenes. Ratnavelu's cinematography is seen with rich visuals. music director Anirudh was more impressed with the background music than the album itself. And the artwork is just okay. The magic of koratala is missing in this movie. Although the span of the story is high, the story is smooth, the dialogues are breathless.
