Former wrestler Dutt said it was Vinesh's mistake…?

In view of the assembly elections in Haryana, the war of words between the leaders of political parties is continuing. Meanwhile, former indian wrestler and bjp leader Yogeshwar Dutt has taken a dig at congress candidate and wrestler Vinesh Phogat for missing out on a medal in the Olympics. He said that an atmosphere has been created in the country as if PM narendra modi has increased her weight by putting his foot on the weighing machine.

Yogeshwar Dutt said, "Vinesh Phogat is a big wrestler of the country. I had said that it was Vinesh's own mistake to be 50 kg more than 100 grams in the olympics and she should have apologized to the country. If Vinesh had come forward and told the countrymen that I could not maintain my weight, then her stature would have increased a lot.''

'It was Vinesh's mistake but it was shown as a conspiracy'

In a conversation with india TV, the bjp leader and former wrestler further said, ''It was Vinesh's mistake but it was shown in such a way that there was a conspiracy against her. The government of india is involved in this, the prime minister is involved. This became a laughing stock in the whole world. In this, whoever has a weight category, he has to show the full weight. Everyone knows these things. Wrestlers have been disqualified before this too. This is not the first case.

'Vinesh gave the wrong message to the whole world'

He also said, ''Vinesh Phogat gave the wrong message to the whole world. All the players expect to win the medal. If the players are not able to do this, then they apologize to the countrymen that I could not win the medal, this increases the respect even more.

Joining congress is Vinesh's personal decision - Yogeshwar Dutt

On the question of Vinesh Phogat joining congress, Yogeshwar Dutt said, "It is a personal matter for any player as to which party he joins. We also joined BJP. So this is his personal decision. After the protest at Jantar Mantar, the country's image got damaged but I say that if injustice has been done to someone then he should get justice.
