Russia shaken by explosion! Death toll in fuel station blast...

An explosion took place at a fuel station in the Dagestan region of russia last Friday. The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry informed that the death toll in the blast has risen to 10. Apart from this, 11 people have been injured so far, who have been admitted to the hospital. According to the TASS news agency, rescue and relief work is still going on at the site. Special equipment is being used to remove the rubble, while the fire that broke out after the explosion has been extinguished.

The Russian Investigative Committee has started an investigation by registering a criminal case on possible violation of safety rules on the incident related to the Dagestan region of Russia. Dagestan authorities declared september 28 a day of mourning in honor of those killed in the explosion. A video related to the blast has also been posted on the social media platform X by @NatalkaKyiv. The clip clearly shows a cloud of smoke rising into the sky. A woman is also screaming.

An explosion took place in Dagestan last year

Makhachkala is located about 1,600 kilometers south of the Russian capital Moscow. Two children are also among those killed in the explosion at the fuel station. Regional officials said a criminal investigation into the cause of the explosion has been launched and saturday has been declared a day of mourning in Dagestan. Earlier in august last year, 35 people were killed and 115 others were injured in a massive explosion at a gas station in Dagestan.
