Supreme Court Bold Move to Fight Pedophiles

G GOWTHAM
The supreme court of india has issued major observations on dispelling sexual stereotypes to build a more sexually informed culture, which would result in less sexual offenses in the country. During the hearing in the case of "Just Rights for Children Alliance v. S. Harish & Ors," the judge made these observations.

The bench, which included Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud and Justice J.B. Pardiwala, noted that the social stigma associated with sexual concerns is the primary cause of the large knowledge gap in society about sexual education. As a result, kids frequently resort to the internet, which occasionally provides extremely inaccurate and misleading information.

According to the court, many parents and educators are reluctant to discuss sexual health and healthy sexual behavior with their children because they believe that doing so may morally corrupt them and induce them to engage in sexual activity at a young age. The court emphadata-sized that studies have demonstrated that this is not the case.

The court refuted the claims that sex education is a "Western concept" and that it is incompatible with indian values. It went on to say that early education increases children's awareness, which lowers the number of sexual crimes and the distribution of child pornography.
