Konda Surekha Apologizes to Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Minister Konda surekha declared that she was retracting her remarks after receiving harsh criticism for her remarks that suggested actor chaitanya and Samantha's divorce was caused by previous minister KT Rama Rao. She clarified that her comments were not intended to offend the actress, but rather to challenge the humiliating behavior of a political figure toward her.
“I am inspired by the way you have grown believing in your own self. You exemplify strength of a woman. If you or your fans were hurt with my remarks, I apologise unconditionally and withdraw my remarks,” she posted on X. The whole Akkineni family, along with a number of prominent performers including nani and Khushbu Sundar, denounced Surekha's comments and voiced their disapproval of her perspective on X. Enraged by the minister's ludicrous accusations against him, ktr issued surekha a court notice seeking an unequivocal apology within 24 hours.
For those unaware, Konda Surekha's obscene remark against ktr sent telangana politics into one of its darkest abysses. She stated that in order for the then-BRS government to refrain from demolishing the N Convention Center, ktr had asked that Samantha's family move her to his home.
