Konda Surekha Withdraw Comments on Samantha but Sticks to KTR

In response to harsh criticism from many quarters including the film industry, Forest minister Konda surekha announced that she was taking back the remarks she had made disparaging actress samantha Ruth Prabhu and other performers. The minister said that she didn't mean to offend Samantha.

“My comments are meant to question a leader’s attitude towards women and not to hurt your sentiments,” surekha said on X, tagging the actress.  The minister also said “the way you have excelled with will power was not only admiration for her but also ideal…” “If you or your fans feel offended by comments, I unconditionally withdraw my comments,” surekha said on X.
The minister did, however, state that she would not take back her remarks on former minister KT Rama Rao and that she still stands by her accusations.
Politicians, the film industry, and internet users are all outraged by minister Konda Surekha's disparaging remarks regarding samantha and naga Chaitanya's divorce. Actors K Chiranjeevi, ntr junior, Nani, and a number of others have denounced the remarks and asked that they be taken down immediately.
 
Among the first few celebrities to criticize Konda surekha for her remarks was ntr junior. He declared that it is a "new low" to bring personal matters into politics. The hashtag #FilmIndustryWillNotTolerate, which he used to communicate his remarks, quickly gained popularity online.
