The movie had a drop in box office receipts of more than 50% on saturday after opening with an astounding Rs 90 crore in India. sunday saw a minor improvement, mostly as a result of the hindi version's performance.

Devara Part 1, however, found it difficult to keep up the pace and only made Rs 13.50 crore on Monday. In comparison to the telugu release, the hindi version seems to be holding up better.
