Hamas Supporters Assault Todd Richman Head of Democratic Majority for Israel
Todd Richman, co-chair of the Democratic Majority for israel, was physically assaulted by a group of Hamas supporters during a pro-Palestinian protest in New York City. The rally, organized by the group "Within Our Lifetime," turned violent as tensions escalated. Richman was bloodied when one of the protesters struck him with a tambourine and tore away his Israeli flag. This attack occurred during a larger demonstration that included participants waving Hamas headbands, and Hezbollah flags, and chanting anti-Israel slogans.
The protest was initially peaceful, but it quickly became aggressive as demonstrators vandalized property and clashed with pro-Israel supporters. Several protesters were arrested near Times Square after smashing car windows and harassing others.
