Legal letters have been delivered to a number of personalities who promoted the app, including YouTuber Elvish Yadav and comedian Bharti Singh, and the police are currently conducting an investigation. Rs 18 crore has been taken from the accounts of the principal culprit, Sivaram, a resident of Chennai, who has been placed under custody.
