Vettaiyan movie explains about BUDS Act rules..!?
After creating awareness about the 49P Act in the Sarkar movie, the Vettaiyan movie explains the law that bans div deposit schemes called the BUDS Act. Vijay's hit movie Sarkar created an important awareness among the people about the election norms. It was made aware that if your vote was registered fraudulently in the 5-yearly elections, you can cast your vote under Section 49B if you want to register your vote instead.
After the film, Sarkar, the film Vettaiyan, which is currently released and running in theaters, has created awareness among the people about a rule related to the law. BUDS ACT means (Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes). It is about this law that is clearly stated in the film Vettaiyan. Actor amitabh bachchan talks about it. What he has said in the film is that the Butts Act is a special law brought in to deal with economic crimes. It is said in the film Vettaiyan that a cheating case means that a person can be sentenced to up to 100 years in this Buds rule special law.
Even in Tamilnadu, there was an incident under this law. There have been cases of fraud in the name of MLM companies. This special law has been brought in the year 2019 for this purpose. Those who have invested will attract the attention of new investors by saying that we have invested in this. Old investors will take half of the money from the new investors in the name of profit. The same cycle repeats itself. Only when it comes to knowing that there are no new investors and the payments are stopped will it be known that it is a scam?
Butts Act was brought in against frauds like this. It is said that offenders convicted under this Act will be sentenced to imprisonment for up to 10 years. But amitabh bachchan in the film Vediyaan says that the punishment will be up to 100 years. Yes, it is true that Rajinikanth would say that he can be investigated under Economic Offenses only if actor rana daggubati is accused of cheating over Rs 3 crore in the film. Therefore, amitabh bachchan says that he will get a prison sentence of up to 100 years.
Also, criminals arrested under this Act cannot come out on bail. Insisting on deposit without authorization is punishable with imprisonment of up to 5 years and a fine of up to INR 10 lakh. Accepting investments or deposits without authorization is punishable with imprisonment of up to 7 years and a fine up to Rs 10 lakh. This is punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of twice the amount collected if the defrauded money is not returned. A fine of up to Rs.50 crore will be imposed on them if they commit the same crime repeatedly. It is to be noted that if these crimes have inter-state ramifications, the DGP can seek the help of the cbi to investigate the same.
