Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'Vettaiyan' hit the theaters worldwide on october 10 on the occasion of Ayudha Puja. After his daughter Aishwarya's 'Lal Salaam', Rajinikanth's 'Vettaiyan' was directed by T.S. Gnanavel, who directed 'Jai Bhim' with actor Surya. Produced by Lyca at a huge cost, this movie continues to receive a good response from the fans.
Since the release of the movie 'Vettaiyan' is a holiday, it continues to collect well at the box office. It has now been revealed that Rajinikanth's previous film 'Lal Salaam' has completed the lifetime collection in just three days. Accordingly, Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan has reportedly collected 26 crores on the third day in India. With this, the film 'Vettaiyan' collected a total of 81.70 crores in three days in india alone. 100 crore worldwide in two days, the film 'Vettaiyan' has collected four times more than Lal Salaam in India. Lal Salaam grossed 17 crores in india and only 80 to 90 crores worldwide. However, the film 'Vetaiyaan' crossed 150 crores in 3 days worldwide.
