Abu Azmi alerts Akhilesh Yadav, says 'whatever be the result...'!
With the announcement of maharashtra assembly elections, brainstorming is going on in the maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) regarding seat sharing. Yesterday (Wednesday, october 16), shiv sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said that an agreement has been reached on seat sharing. However, Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi party, which is hoping for seats in the MVA, may get a shock. Amidst these speculations, Samajwadi party President in maharashtra Abu Azmi said that it would be wrong for any party to announce candidates without talks.
Azmi, mla from Mankhurd shivaji Nagar, wrote on Twitter, "If any party of the maha Vikas Aghadi in maharashtra, be it congress, Nationalist congress (SP), or shiv sena (Uttar Pradesh), releases the list of assembly candidates without talking to the Samajwadi party or taking them into confidence, it means that they do not consider Samajwadi party a part of the maha Vikas Aghadi." Abu Azmi said, "It would be wrong for any party to announce candidates without talking to the Samajwadi Party. Whereas the objective of the maha Vikas Aghadi is to keep all secular parties together and fight against the communal government." He said, "In these circumstances, I would like permission from our national president akhilesh yadav that whatever be the result of the assembly elections in maharashtra, the Samajwadi party would like to contest as many seats as possible in the assemblies where it is strong." SP is busy preparing Let us tell you that the Samajwadi party has been preparing for the assembly elections in maharashtra for a long time. In the month of July itself, most of the SP MPs visited Maharashtra.
In July itself, when akhilesh yadav was questioned about joining the MVA (Maha Vikas Aghadi) in maharashtra, he said, "We have two MLAs in Maharashtra. There have been corporators. At one time, our party had four to five MLAs. We will consider seats where there is an organization and where we can win in alliance."
The MVA in maharashtra includes congress, Sharad Pawar's ncp (SP) and uddhav Thackeray's shiv sena (UBT). In such a situation, after Abu Azmi's statement, it will be interesting to see whether congress gives seats from its account in maharashtra or there is a separate discussion on seats in MVA.
