In indian films, the heroines have a very brief career compared to the men. A heroine who makes it big will star in tens of movies over a decade; if she doesn't, people will soon forget about her. With new-generation heroines like Rashmika, Meenakshi Chaudhary, sree Leela, Neha Shetty, and Mrunal Thakur receiving more offers lately, it appears that the days of Samantha, rakul Preet, and pooja hegde are over. Another heroine is Kavya Thapar, who made her film debut in Ek mini Katha but quickly gained enormous popularity.

Kavya was not a hit with the film Double Ismart, but she did win a lot of admirers for her appearance in it.
