Prashant Kishore's first reaction on poisonous liquor!

Sudha Subbiah

The death of 25 people due to poisonous liquor in Chapra and Siwan has been officially confirmed. However, the figures are being reported to be more. Now the reaction of Jan Suraj's mastermind prashant kishore has come on this entire incident. On thursday (17 October), prashant kishore has surrounded the government on this incident. prashant kishore said, "I am the first person who has publicly said this from every platform since the last two and a half to three years, since I have come to bihar and have gone to the villages, I am saying on the basis of what I have seen by roaming around that liquor ban is not implemented anywhere in Bihar. Liquor ban is implemented only in government files and in the speeches of leaders. In the name of liquor ban, liquor shops have been closed. Liquor is being sold from house to house."

PK called the Chapra-Siwan incident sad

Regarding the Chapra-Siwan incident, he said that it is sad, but in this Chapra one and a half years ago, more than 70 people died. There is no district or panchayat in bihar where people have not died due to poisonous liquor. Many incidents are not even reported. The effect of drinking poor quality liquor, poisonous liquor or illegal liquor being sold by liquor mafias, on people's health is not being discussed at all."

Liquor worth Rs. 10 is being sold for Rs. 100: prashant Kishore

prashant Kishore, the architect of Jan Suraj, said that the bihar government should understand that you have closed shops in the name of liquor ban, liquor is being sold door to door. Liquor worth Rs. 10 is being sold for Rs. 100. Who is benefiting? The corrupt officials, corrupt politicians and liquor mafia who are earning Rs. 15 to 20 thousand crores every year are benefiting.

PK said that in Jan Suraj, we have been saying from the first day that whether we get votes or not, this decision of liquor ban is not in Bihar's favour. It is not in the public's favour. Even after so many deaths, nitish kumar will not even go there on behalf of the government. Last time, when about 70 people died in Chhapra, no one went from the government's side. Officials will go only to fulfill the formality. This fake liquor ban law should be removed. If liquor has to be sold, it should be sold in a regulated manner.
