Reliance jio lost 10.9 million subscribers, But Jio's net profit rose to Rs 6,536 crore!

Dependency jio just raised the cost of its recharge plans. The user base of the firm is now another indicator of its effect. Over 10.9 million jio users have dropped the service as a result in the second quarter. Recharge plan prices have gone up, which is the major cause of this. The corporation doesn't seem to be concerned about the drop.

Jio saw an increase in 5g customers from 130 million to 147 million, while its Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) decreased from Rs 181.7 to Rs 195.1. Additionally, despite a drop in the total number of subscribers, Jio's net profit rose to Rs 6,536 crore.

Jio is the clear leader in three important categories, according to a new OpenSignal report: network speed, coverage, and consistency. According to the india mobile Network Experience Report (October 2024), jio outperformed its rivals with an astounding 89.5 Mbps download speed. Vi trailed after with 16.9 Mbps, and airtel came in second with 44.2 Mbps. jio is the best option for consumers looking for fast mobile internet for streaming, gaming, and other purposes because its speed is more than twice as fast as Airtel's.

Jio's network's reach extends well beyond its speed. Its services are still accessible in even the most remote parts of india, where it still enjoys wide coverage. The telco's extensive infrastructure has allowed millions of indians to get connected, especially in rural regions where reliable mobile connections are usually scarce.

Jio beat its rivals and offered a consistent and uninterrupted experience for both voice calls and internet services, earning a network consistency score of 66.5%. Whether holding business meetings or watching films on the road, maintaining a high-quality user experience depends on reliability.
