Is Kamala Harris a Fraud? Plagiarism Allegations

G GOWTHAM
Kamala Harris' history has frequently been brought up by conservatives and Republican backers to level charges against her. A similar scenario occurred recently when the Democrats expressed worry over a book she published fifteen years ago. Conservative activist christopher Ruso alleges that Kamala harris used news items and Wikipedia to plagiarize parts of her 2008 book, Smart on Crime. According to him, the US Vice President utilized their work without properly citing it.

The Democratic side disputes these claims and maintains that the book correctly referenced its sources. Rufo's remark was seen as a desperate attempt to undermine the rising support for the candidate of indian descent. In a 200-page book, the right-wing activist identified six passages in which Kamala harris neglected to identify her sources. However, it appeared insignificant since media reports classified them as trivial errors rather than instances of deliberate copying.

Rufo has some secrets as well because he has made similar charges against liberal and Democratic academics in the past, particularly Black ones. Furthermore, he has demonstrated a blatant bias towards conservative viewpoints by frequently criticizing diversity and inclusion initiatives. The fact that many are comparing these accusations to Joe Biden's previous plagiarism controversy may be more worrisome for Kamala Harris. Since his first disastrous presidential debate, the vice president has been anxious to show how she differs from her predecessor. She may regress as a result of this latest charge.
