There was a commotion as more than 80 people who had come to the TVK conference fainted due to the heat. Actor Vijay launched a political party called Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam last February. The party's first conference is scheduled to be held this evening at v Saali village in Vikravandi. A 50,000-seat venue has been set up for this grand convention.
